Low Key Portrait Shoot

Like I mentioned before, I am currently taking a class in photography.  Our most recent project was a portrait shoot.  We were asked to shoot both low key and high key portraits.  To be honest with you, I didn’t care much for the high key portrait.  I loved low key though, I love the dramatic effect that it gives.  I find the high key way too bright and cheery.  And as I’m sure that works for some models, it didn’t work with mine.  But with him, I think we hit it on the nose with the low key.   Here are the low key ones that I liked the most.  I’m still debating if I’ll put up the high key, though I’m not 100% sure I will… I guess we’ll have to wait and see!

In the meantime though, here are these… please tell me what you think.  If there is anything you would’ve liked to have seen different or anything you wish I would’ve tried, please do tell me.  I encourage all constructive criticism… it’s the only way that I can learn.

Thanks!
